I enjoyed going on this journey with kallkaker and I loved the history that got interwoven into the story. Faith Fitzgerald is a dedicated scholar and award-winning author.

I love this book. One of my favorite lesfic books. After that scene she decides to move out, and live her life, all the while trying to ignore her feelings for Sydney.

The two main characters are each dealing with their own demons but they didn’t take away from the sweet chemistry they had. Loved the interaction between Faith and Sidney. Thrown together by fate, these strong, independent women find themselves impassioned by a dangerous longing that threatens the very foundations of their carefully constructed lives.

I found it hard to get through the first chapters.

I completely agree with the previous reviewer! Faith has had a little experience in the love xlgo but none of it has been with a man, not until Eric, who respects her upbringing and is willing to wait til they are married.

Daniel rated it really liked it Aug 21, The repeated “I don’t love you anymore” reads like lyrics. So now having re-read it, I’ll assume the vague memories of Eleanor will again be the only thing I remember about this book a year or so from now.

Mack rated it really liked it. Faith breaks up with Eric who is way more understanding that she thought possible and he remains a great friend as their relationship changes and Sydney becomes more to her than just a friend. The characters were pretty good, and the plot was well put together.
