There’s no need bukowsik say anything else. Man, this dirty old guy could write! His poetry has allowed me to connect in a way no other poet has. I think I read his work so I can prepare for whatever can come. This book promises ‘the best of the best of Bukowski’, and it certainly doesn’t disappoint – then again, at over pages, there’s a lot in there to choose from. You were a lonely man with a heart of glass and every word you wrote, you wrote for yourself.

For starters, this collection seems to have been slapped together without any dates or order to the work. No fancy wording or clever rhymes. Poetry has, for good or ill, been a predominately feminine pursuit over the years. From a canonical standpoint, it is amazing to me that anyone especially women would ever read this trash.
